In March 2001, completed the 3rd year doctoral course at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University. Obtained doctorate (engineering). After working as an assistant and assistant professor at Tohoku University, in April 2009 he became an associate professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University. From 2016 to 2017, studied abroad at the University of Melbourne as a researcher of the International Joint Research Acceleration Fund. In 2021, he became an editorial board member of Scientific Reports, an academic journal of Nature Research. April 2023 Professor, Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University. We are conducting research on the creation of functional materials (inorganic materials, inorganic-organic composite materials) that can adsorb various substances in aqueous solutions and gases, and their application to the fields of environment, resources, and medicine.
Research Field: Environmental Chemistry, Inorganic-Organic Composites, Adsorption
Research content: Creating functional materials (inorganic materials, inorganic-organic composite materials) to remove harmful substances in wastewater and exhaust gas
One word: "Let's apply functional materials to environmental conservation and purification!"
